Saturday was Gabe's 2nd birthday. I'm sure there will be pictures on Facebook. If you haven't unfriended these people yet, you can see them there. The thing that made Gabe happiest was the two bunches of helium filled balloons. He loved running through the opening between them. Knocking them helter skelter as he did. Then the adults had to follow suite. If you came to the party, thanks and I hope you enjoyed yourself.
Matt and Karen Langdon were here with, their new to walking daughter, Vienna. She was going all over the place, keeping up with the older boys.
One odd fact, there were no fewer than four couples that arrived in separate vehicles!?
The party coincided with the Michigan football game, so I set the VCR to record the game in the side bedroom. Several people wanted to watch so we spent a good deal of time in here. That is one of the characteristics of this room. It is a sanctuary. Nick Gregory made himself at home, he's one of the family now. Remember, once your in it's hard to get out. Michigan won the game over Notre Dame in the last minute or so. I wonder if we would have won if their number one quarterback had been in for the whole game. I even broke out "The General Bo (George Patton) Schembechler Scoring Horn". No one even commented on it. Michigan fans know what it's about.
At the end of the party, Gabe and Kavon hugged and it was soooooo cute. Then Kavon closed Gabe between the two back doors! Gabe had hurt feelings, so more hugging and a kiss made things a
little better.
Happy Second Birthday Gabe.
